Unfortunately, Sydney’s public transport system is often unreliable, with fares that are far higher than other states in Australia and other countries around the world. Sydney commuters spend an average of $50 a week on public transport, or $2600 a year. In a cost of living crisis, this adds up.
That's why we're calling on the NSW Government to introduce 50 cent public transport fares across the state. Lowering fares to 50c would save full-time workers a whopping $2,160 a year. Please add your name to our petition, to support 50c public transport fares in NSW.
