The NSW Labor Member for Newcastle, Tim Crakanthorp, has been found to have breached public trust by the ICAC. Despite this alarming finding, the Labor party have refused to call for his resignation, insisting that to do so would set a "low-bar" for future indiscretions.

The NSW Upper House Committee Inquiry into the disastrous Rozelle Interchange project will commence hearings this week, with a public forum scheduled for tomorrow afternoon. This Inquiry was established and will be chaired by Greens MLC Cate Faehrmann.

Overnight it was announced that the EPA granted an extension to the deadline to clean-up the asbestos contaminated mulch in Rozelle Parklands.
