Free Community BBQ: Help Reopen the Glebe Island Bridge
Join us for a free BBQ picnic and community action to help reopen the Glebe Island Bridge and restore this vital walking and cycling link.
The long-abandoned Glebe Island Bridge is the missing link that would significantly improve walking and cycling options in our city - providing a much-needed connection between Rozelle and Pyrmont.
More than a thousand people have already signed our petition calling for the bridge to be reopened. Now it's time for us to come together and show the NSW Government how much this link means to our community.
Join us for a free BBQ picnic and community action to call on the NSW Government to reopen the Glebe Island Bridge.
We’ll be gathering at Waterfront Park in Pyrmont, overlooking the bridge. We’ll also organise a bike bus and group walk from the peninsula for anyone who wants to travel together.

Our vision for the Glebe Island Bridge
