Sign our petition to minimise disruption to residents of Waterloo St and surrounds during the Rozelle Village construction on the former leagues club site.
Our community deserves revitalised amenities in Rozelle without unreasonable disruption to resident's lives.
Residents of Waterloo Street are sounding the alarm over current plans for the Rozelle Village construction. Daily cement truck movements are set to disrupt access to Waterloo Street and delivery times and locations for cement pouring will create chaos. We have seen the impact in the past with construction vehicles taking over local street parking. The pollution from idling trucks will spill into homes and businesses for hours, and traffic is likely to be gridlocked in surrounding streets.
The impacts on residents will be severe. The government needs a plan to minimise the disruption to local residents while this work continues into 2027.
Sign our petition to the Minister for Transport below, calling on the government to reconsider their plans to ensure disruption for residents is minimised during this construction period.

We call on the Minister for Transport to extend the restricted hours on Victoria Road and implement any other measures that will minimise the impact on the residents of Waterloo Street. |
