Fix Inner West Buses

Sign our petition below for reliable, accessible public transport

Our community deserves world class public transport. Run for the public, by the public - that gets you anywhere you want to go, whenever you want to get there.

But the inner west is facing a bus crisis due to the failed privatisation 'experiment' - and we've had enough.

Join me in calling on the new Minister for Transport to recognise our community’s strong concerns about privatisation and cut services, cancellations and delays.

We call on the minister to respond to our calls for reinstated services and commit to reversing the privatisation of our inner west bus network as soon as possible.

The local public transport services we would like to see re-instated or amended are:

  • Extending the Glebe Ferry to Annandale & Pyrmont and include it on the Opal network
  • Restoring the 445 to East Balmain Wharf
  • Restoring the 370 to Leichhardt
  • And reopening the Elliott St Wharf ferry service.

Local public transport should be frequent, affordable, accessible and reliable and I will continue pushing the new Labor minority government to fix this mess for us all.
