Thanks to sustained pressure from our community, we secured the return of the Balmain West Ferry service to Elliott Street Wharf in 2025. The long-awaited return of this service has already made a huge difference for residents.
This ferry service is incredibly well-patronised during weekday peaks, and our community is now asking for weekend and off-peak options so they can easily get into the city and leave the car at home.
With rising transport costs and worsening congestion, there's never been a more important time for the government to invest in improving public transport services.
