Have Your Say: New Synthetic Turf Proposal for Waterfront Drive Callan Park

Earlier this year, the Inner West Council lodged two Development Applications to replace natural turf with synthetic turf at the Balmain Road Sports Ground and Waterfront Drive Sports Ground in Callan Park. The Waterfront Drive proposal was unanimously rejected due to concerns about pollution impacts on Sydney Harbour.
Council is appealing this decision and you have until the 6th October to lodge your submission. While the new proposal has made some changes, many of the original concerns with the use of synthetic turf remain. Please use this template to have your say.
